NOT that I'm complaining at all about the masculine perfection of this cover 'cause HELLO, just look at those mouthwateringly yummy shoulders and biceps...GRRR! But, don't baseball players usually have a little more junk in their trunk and thicker thighs? I think I have an obligation to read this (as purely scientific study of course) to find out. *naughty grin*
Thoughts After Reading
After careful review and scientific analysis, I have determined that this cover model, albeit delicious in his own right, isn’t a totally adequate representation for the studtastic hotness that is Gavin Riley.

I really enjoyed this, although not quite as much as The Perfect Play. Gavin and Liz are seriously smokin’ hot together and scorch the sheets, the balcony, the shower, the floor, the couch, the kitchen counter, and just about any and every surface they touch. Gavin is yummy of course, but I was surprised by how much I ended up liking and rooting for Liz after her outright display of utter bitchiness in The Perfect Play. The author does a good job explaining her hidden insecurity and vulnerability and making her into a sympathetic heroine. Mick was a total d*ck, no pun intended, to Gavin and Liz and tried his best to tear them apart. Luckily he eventually came around because otherwise I was going to have to pummel him, which would have been a damn shame considering how much I loved him in The Perfect Play. 4 ½ stars!

GOOOOOD GAWD Gavin is one of the sexiest men I have read about. He goes up there with Cord McKay from Lorelei James' Rough Rider series, and from me that is saying alot.Because of her actions in The Perfect Play, I didn't think I could like Liz, but JB pulled it off and made me understand her actions and totally like Liz.The smexing was uber hot and some of the best I've read =)Changing The Game is up there with Chasin' Eight as one of my favorite
Another great installment in this amazing series. I think this is the first series I enjoy on this genre. Well done Jaci Burton, you have a way with words. I still liked much more book 1 though.
I didn't like this quite as well as I liked the first, but only because the first few chapters were a bit rocky for me. I thought there was a bit more setup and reminder of what happened in the last book right off, and I would have liked to not have that all at once in the first chapter. I also felt a bit distanced from the characters for awhile, and I wondered if it was a byproduct of their distance from each other. However, I absolutely loved the conflict of the last third of the book. Loved.
This was a cute story. I liked it a lot. I didn't want to read it for a long time because I didn't like Liz in the fisrt story, but we get to know her in this one and we see that she's human. She's made mistakes and she's sorry. I liked that she owned up to what she's done and showed remorse.I took a star off for Mick. Every time that idiot was on the page, I wanted to close the book and read something else. I get that he was mad, but after a while he was just a 2 yr old with a tantrum. I did't
Once again the cover is hot and I knew that I would be moving this book to the top of my TBR list because I was drooling and sports guys are my thing. As I began the book I was having similar feelings that I did with book 1, The Perfect Play, basically a good, hot read with lots of sex, but the story didn't overwhelm and engage me as I had hoped it would. Changing the Game might have started that way, but its momentum built into a page turner that had a lot more depth with some emotional moments
