Representaion Concering Books Confessions (Private #4)
Sometimes the truth hurts....Reed Brennan came to superposh Easton Academy to make a brand-new life for herself. At first it seemed as though her dream had come true-she was living in the ultraexclusive Billings Hall, hanging out with the all-powerful Billings Girls, and dating the very hot Thomas Pearson. But Thomas turned out to be different from what she thought...and then he turned up dead. And if that wasn't twisted enough, Reed's new boyfriend, Josh Hollis, was arrested for Thomas's murder.
Now everyone is back to worrying about the regular stuff, like how to sneak to the boys' dorms at night, whether two-ply cashmere is warm enough for fall, and whether to fly to London or Barcelona for Thanksgiving break.
Everyone except for Reed.
Reed is convinced that Josh is innocent, which means the killer is still out there. Now it's up to Reed to uncover the truth. But the deeper she digs, the more secrets she unearths and the closer she gets to the confession that will change everything...if she's alive to hear it.

Oooooh! THIS IS THE BEST ONE IN THE SERIES. Just when you think you have everyone in Billings figured out, you get a major reality check. Everything changes in this book and you learn so much about the characters in it. There's a reason it's called confessions.This was a reread for me, but I still loved it. Even knowing what was going to happen, it was still exciting, and I liked looking for clues and hints I might have missed the first time around.This series is so well written too. There are no loose ends, and everything fits together nicely. The characters are great. Theyre complex and likable, yet with very realistic flaws. I liked getting to know Dash a little better in this one, and I enjoyed Cheyennes interactions with Noelle.
I understand that Reed would want justice for her current and ex boyfriend, but come on, Reed, life doesn't revolve around you! The author went lazy and gave Reed so many free pass for, as quoted, (view spoiler)["one boyfriend dead, another falsely accused, and an attempt on my life by a supposed friend." (hide spoiler)] I thought that was incredibly convenient for Reed and vacuous for a private education institution that was supposedly strict with their students.The story is boring at best;
I think this is the best in the Private series: a lot of loose ends have been tied up quite nicely, true identities revealed, veneer of glamour stripped away; we're finally down to the nitty-gritty side of Easton Academy. Reed Brennan came to superposh Easton Academy to make a brand-new life for herself. At first it seemed as though her dream had come true-she was living in the ultraexclusive Billings Hall, hanging out with the all-powerful Billings Girls, and dating the very hot Thomas Pearson.
This book was another easy entertaining read and it is a conclusion of sorts to some of the bigger threads in the series so far which was both good (because getting answers is always good even if you don't like the answers) but also kind of takes away some of the motivation to read on in the series.A lot happened in this book especially given it is only 240 pages and that kept me turning pages at the rate of knots. As per usual Reed made a number of poor choices and annoyed me for a good portion
I used to love this series when I was in middle school, so Im gonna give it 3 stars. The main character wasnt an interesting character at all. But I guess the mystery, drama & scandal was what kept me reading 😆 However, the prequel (book of spells) was full of shit that I hated it even then.
So, this series would be so much better if they'd switch perspectives. Reed is unbearable by this book. Also, how awesome would it be if Noelle had a book? This might be the end for me as the plot twist might have destroyed my future with these books.
