This book picks up right where the last one ended, Aria ran away from Braith after his brother told her about his upcoming arranged marriage. Aria was pissed,she felt betrayed not even her love of nature can heal her wounded heart. He had always enjoyed baiting her, watching her response, but this was different, this was not the girl that had stayed in his apartment at theThis was almost comical... In a bad way.Braith, our guy, spends nearly the whole book trembling in rage. I'm not kidding, that would happen twice every page. By the end, of course, it had gotten old and boring. As for Aria, she spent nearly all the time she had with Braith crying, for different reasons. As a couple, those two were just terrible. One trembling in rage and the other melting in a puddle of tears all the time. Oh, and there was also Max, suffering from a serious case of PTSD. He was

I looooooooooved this!Book one is probably still my favorite, but this one was definitely amazing. I heart Braith and Aria, they are definitely something else. There is this connection, this bond between them...its hard to explain, but its just so beautiful to me.There was a lot more going on in this book, it moves at a pretty fast pace, but it didn't feel rushed to me. The writing is definitely something to be admired. I am greatly enjoying this series and am excited to read on.the ending of

The second book in The Captive series, this is a fantastic follow up to book one - Captured - and continues the story of Arianna and Braith and their battle to be together in a world where vampires rule over an enslaved human race. Just a warning this is going to be a bit spoilery if you havent read the first book. And if you havent read the first book its free on Amazon, so DO IT NOW!!!!The story picks up around two months after the end of the hideous cliffhanger that ended the last book.
