A very compelling narrative full of stories, studies, and grounded reasoning. I will be sure to recommend this book and most likely read it again!First and foremost, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The author presents a compelling case for the various roles that fathers fill in a daughters life. She does so by relying on facts and anecdotes from her career and she doesn't rely on platitudes (religious or otherwise) that tend to plague this genre. My husband read this book over the summer and it transformed his parenting! He has always been a wonderful father, but this has really helped open his eyes to how vital he is to our daughter's emotional - and physical - well-being and health.
