Column About Books Blood Ransom (Blood Ties #2)
Question: how many times can you mention that Milo looks like Theo in a double page spread?Answer: too many. Also Theo always says 'Man,' as an exclamation in the narration. Rachel always says "oh my god." Man, it's kind of annoying, I get that the author's trying to develop their different narrative voices, but it could be done a lot more subtly instead of shoving a particular phrase in every other paragraph. Being the second book of the sequel it was a bit of a carry on about what their lives had become after being re-positioned on the world with a new identity after all the events that happened in the last book. Nevertheless, of course there was even more drama and action following Rachels 'suicide' in the sea. And not only is another clone of Elijahs discovered but an experiment that Rachel had only briefly known about unrolls into complete science madness; leading to an unexpected dicovery of a

WHAT AN AMAZING BOOK!?! I loved the romance and heart-pumping, page turning read! :) I can't wait for her 5th Medusa Project!

I absolutely loved 'Blood Ties' when I read it earlier this year and had no idea that there was going to be a sequel. Imagine my excitement when I saw this in my local bookshop! I bought it immediately! This book is a perfect read for when you get home after a long day at work and you want to pick up something that will make you forget everything but the story you're reading. The action picks up within the first few pages, with very little prelude and maintains a constant pace until the end of

An amazing book!Couldn't put down and it is very predictable. This book is a total must read.I would definitely recommend this book as it is is full of suspense and mysteryAlso it has the story from a different point of view from another person. I enjoyed this book and hopefully you do too!READ IT !! Definitely a must read

An absolutely fantastic fast-paced, action-packed book from Sophie Mckenzie which is irresistibly brilliant. It is impossible to put down and filled with cliffhangers that keep you reading wanting to know what happens. The only thing that kept the book from reaching five stars was that it had too many similarities with blood ties (the first book in the series) and at times the storyline appeared to go in circles. But that could be looked aside simply because it was just simply outstanding. This
