Interpretation To Books Forever and Always (Montgomery/Taggert (Publication order) #25)

*Reread Review* I have to be completely honest and admit that it never occurred to me how odd it was for a series to head in a direction like this one does. In fact of allllllll the series I have read, I have never before or since first reading it, read a series that moves quite like this one. Probably 98% of books I read are series.. We are back with Darcy but she is not the same as the Darcy we knew. Having lived with and developed her powers over the years she has been through a lot, even working with the FBI finding people and things.. but with all her powers, which get demonstrated in this book, and are quite extensive she can't find the one she truly wants... Adam has been missing and something is blocking her from finding him and his sister Bo. In the height of her depression spending most of her time in trances and meditation desperate for her husband back, her dear ole mom sends a client to her who needs a little help finding his missing son. Lincoln Aimes, famous actor, funny, charming, and oh so gorgeous comes to Darcy completely at a loss how she could possibly help him. His son, who he has never met, due to some decisions he made back when he was a struggling actor to make some cash, has gone missing. Through the years though he wasn't allowed to ever have contact or be involved in his life, Lincoln has kept tabs on him until mysteriously the kid and mom go missing and his lawyer who knew about him ends up dead.. Darcy not wanting to be distracted from her search for Adam grudgingly agrees to send him in the right direction because her mother has never asked for anything before. Upon meeting however, Darcy gets her first feeling about Adam.. she knows if she helps this man it will somehow lead to her finding Adam. Now on their way to the heart of the south, in disguise they search for clues to the missing boy and Darcy slowly gets more clues to finding Adam.. including artifacts like the mirror that she may end up needing to find him.. as well as save the people she is starting to care for and maybe even the world. So I remember reading this at first and hating Lincoln.. not because he was a bad guy but because I thought the author was setting him up to take Adam's place. To my intense relief that is not the case! I ended up loving this one just as much and then even more than the last. I wish Darcy's life of mystery solving went on forever but I can see why it doesn't. I mean the paranormal crime solver thing has been done quite a bit over the years... But still here is to hoping for a Darcy series in the future lol. I can definitely see why people are confused at the end here but in all truth in order to see where this is headed you definitely have to read the 3rd book in the series. Right now, we have a tiny bit of knowledge and only a small part of what we need to find Adam and Bo, but Darcy is meant for great things....

Judge Out Of Books Forever and Always (Montgomery/Taggert (Publication order) #25)
Right away I was thrown off when one of the crucial characters from the first book was gone (with the snap of a finger). However, I loved the story! It was exciting, funny, and cute. Plus, I liked the ending, which is good because I was disappointed with the ending for the first book in the trilogy.

This book was kind of a supernatural mystery with romantic elements - hard to classify. Not my usual type of book but I know some people love this author so I thought I'd give it a chance. Like breezygirl, I found this book had a few too many ghosts and spirits for my liking. I had a hard time relating to the main characters - Darci, a petite woman with supernatural powers whose husband is missing and Linc, a handsome male actor whose son is missing. Despite this, I found parts of the story

Finished this one last night... Not my normal Jude Deveraux... what I thought would be a romance novel turned into a super-natural mystery. oh well... I guess she's branching out. This was a pretty good read. Darci is still discovery who she is and what she can do with her "powers" There is a lot of character developement that will carry over into what I can only assume will be a 'series' of books... as the main plot did not get completed in this book.http://www.bookcrossing.com/journal/1...

As a stand-alone or with the first novel it was good. However the ending of the 3rd in this triology ruined the entire thing for me.

Ms. Deveraux has written yet another wonderful romance, but had added a touch of the paranormal to her story. To my surprise and enjoyment this addition worked out beautifully.Darci's husband is missing after a mysterious accident and even her psychic powers haven't been able to help her locate him. Then appears a man at her door named Link, a famous Hollywood actor with a missing son. Darci may be his only chance at finding his son alive. Will Darci over come her own grief and if so, will she

Not as good as the first of the series, but still quite fun. My biggest complaint is that it's written in the first person, but alternating between the two main characters. Sometimes I'd get confused trying to remember who the "I" was referring to from one chapter to the next. I wouldn't have thought I'd be able to enjoy a sequel in which Adam has disappeared and Darci's counterpart is some drop-dead gorgeous actor, but it was really pretty good. I'm psyched for the third book.

I really loved this series! I was gifted the book in a random bag from a friends shelf. It has now found a home on my book shelf for life.
