This is the sixth Mistborn novel and third volume of Waxillium Ladrians saga following on the heels of Shadows of Self, and according to Sanderson one is an intentional counterpoint to the other, which explains why there were only a few monthsOh wow! There are lots of characters in this book. 'The Bands of Mourning' is the best book in second trilogy of 'Mistborn'.I really like Steris in this book.My goodness! I don't know what to say. I love this book. Alhamdulillah.
Ladies and gentlemen, let me present to you, a master of sequels, action scenes and "the last 20%". Mr Sanderson, please take a bow!Talk about taking it to the next level! The only sequel of Sanderson's which fell short for me was The Well of Ascension; this one however suffers no such disinclination. This third instalment in the second era Mistborn series proved to be the best yet! It was fast paced and stuffed full of action, mystery, humor, romance, cool magic, and shock developments. Sanderson once again succeeded in keeping me fully engaged and entertained for the duration of the story. All our favourite characters were back.
