Judgment Of Books La casa de Bernarda Alba
Sometimes a book speaks to you about your own life with perfect clarity. This is one of those books.

'Dont touch me! Dont try to soften my heart. My blood is no longer like yours, and even if I wish to see you as a sister now I only see you as the other woman.'Interesting play. Its like what would happen if all the Bennet sisters wanted to marry the same man.

A depressing setting and a bunch of annoying characters... Yet I could not put it down for the life of me and devoured it in one sitting. Written in 1936 and completed just a few months before his execution,

And even funnier - I played the infamous and despotic Bernarda Alba. So yeah. After a year of practicing and learning and adding and crossing out lines and after several performances of different length of this play I cannot help but really like it. And as awful as Bernarda Alba is, it was a great pleasure to play her, to play such a cruel
