Disclaimers: This is probably going to be more rant then review. This book sent my blood pressure skyrocketing. I was cursing at the characters, I wanted to slap a couple of people and shake the heck out of Livie more than once. I have to start off saying I loved Ten Tiny Breaths. I mean I LOVED it. It's one of my top books of last year. One of the big reasons I loved it? Livie. She was a fantastic character. I adored everything about her, and I could not have been more thrilled for her to getI love this book!!! 4.5 stars If you loved Ten Tiny Breaths, you'll love this one too! It was different in many ways and definitely stood on it's own but it had that same spark! I just could not put it down! I have to say this story really surprised me. It went in a really different direction than I was expecting and I just LOVED that about it! See, it was actually a bit of a forbidden romance. How shall I begin... this book holds up for ASHTON!!!! Let's not waste time, my Ashton, here he comes And Ash sync with Okie dokie, that's settle why I was hooked with this book!! Book 1 was breathtaking.... Kacey with her gorgeous Trent aka Cole *yum yum yum* He still has an effect on me! I was glad to Trent in and are. Life has a funny way of creating its own tests. It throws curve balls that make you do and think and feel things that are in direct conflict with what you had planned and don't allow you to operate in terms of black and white. This was better than I thought it would be. It started off nicely but as the story progressed I kind of lost interest and couldn't connect with the characters. But then that said connection was restored so in a way I enjoyed this a lot. In no way is it better than the

This is the sixth book of hers I have either read or listened to, and I have loved each and every one of them. Perhaps the reason that I enjoy Ms. Tucker's writing so much is that while all her stories seem to have some level of romance intermixed with mystery/intrigue, they all defy a standard mold or formula. Instead each time you sit down to enjoy one of Ms.
I need to preface my rant review with this: I loved, truly loved, Ten Tiny Breaths. I genuinely enjoy this author's writing. So it pains me to give this anything other than less than 4 or 5 stars, but I simply can't give it more than 3. This books was sadly a big let down for me, but only due to the plot.
