After returning home from Romania, and successfully saving her best friend Lilly, Eden Matthews must now come to terms with her future as an Immortal. She is in love with the Crowned Prince, but he is betrothed to someone else.

Her family desperately wants her to join their rebellion, but that would mean fighting against her one, true love, Kiran Kendrick. She must fight off assassins that want her dead, an Immortal rite of passage that takes her to India and a deadly disease that no one has thus far survived. Danger seems to lurk around every corner as Eden Matthews struggles to keep her true identity a secret and protect those that she loves.

Eden must find a way to be with Kiran, or turn her back on him forever and fight to save her people. Hopeless Magic is the second installment of the Star-Crossed series.

Discuss About Books Hopeless Magic (Star-Crossed #2)
This was an interesting instalment, and the ending really changed things!Eden continued to be trouble in this book, and her power continued to grow to the point where she really didnt know what she was doing with it really. The storyline in this was about Eden having to go through a rite of passage that she had missed as she had been raised human, and also Eden fighting for Kirans affections with his fiancé throwing her weight around as usual. It was the ending that was most surprising though, as

I will not tire of telling everyone how awesome this book is! The plot, the twists, the ending is very gripping! I love the ending of book two and it makes my mouth water for the 3rd installment! Characters have more depth on this book and I'm liking how the mysterious the story is and I can't predict what will happen next, thus making me want to know what happened all the more. And I really like the pace of this story, not laid back and not too forward either. I will not be surprised if this

Eden continues to struggle to find her place within the magical community and the Resistance. She is in love with the Prince, but not only is he betrothed to someone else, her family is also striving to end his bloodline. Rock meet hard place. Things get more interesting as the King realizes who she is and the political maneuverings begin including attempts on Eden's life.Things get moving in the plot in this 2nd installment of the series. Thankfully, there is enough action that it helps

**Please do not read if you have yet to read Reckless Magic!! There will possibly be spoilers for book one.**Eden and Kiran are back home and keeping their relationship secret from his parents and his fiancé until he can show them that Eden is the one he wants. Only her family and friends know the truth. But each day gets harder and harder for the young couple and their forbidden love. Especially when the Princes cousin, Sebastian, shows up. Kiran tries to make Eden see he is here for him. Only

Okay so there were a couple things that annoyed me about this book. Cons-I disliked Eden so very much in this book. It's okay to make mistakes, but when you make mistakes as big as the ones she made, it makes you wonder. First off, I don't like that she's dating Kiran. It's really selfish. She is putting her family and friends at risk just so she can have a few moments with her boyfriend. There's no way I would sacrifice my family and friends for a few moments (and I do mean few seeing as their

The first one in this series was interesting - just interesting enough to get you to the second one which blows the original story out of the water. After reading Hopeless Magic, I realize Reckless Magic was more of a vehicle to plod the reader through the world building and introduction of characters and relationships. It was done painlessly enough, if not somewhat juvenile. Smart move to make it a free purchase on Amazon - I became a more forgiving reader since it cost me nothing but free time

Ok I took one star because... I don't like to read quotes from Pride and Prejudice! I loved this second installment maybe more than the first one. I loved that Eden did that walk and she wasn't really set up, well she kinda was but Lucan kinda stopped because he found out more tangible information during the India trip. Anyways, I felt so bad for Serafina, yea she is the mean girl for honestly she is still a girl and she had hopes and dreams, and Kiran, ah Kiran, you messed up big time. Yea, you
